The Staff of Coir Board SR&SD, Thrissur cleaned the premises of Office on 2-10-2023 as part of the Swachhata Pakhwada.

Staff and trainees of Coir Board Regional Extension Centre, Thanjavur took the Swachhata pledge on 02/10/2023 and cleaned the premises of the office as part of the Swachhata Pakhwada, 2023.

Coir Board Regional Office, Rajahmundry cleaned the partial area of the River Godavari bank as a part of Swacchata Hi Seva 2023.

Shri D.Kuppuramu, Chairman Coir Board administered Swachhata Pledge at Coir Board Head Office, Kochi. Staff members, Children and parents came for the Painting competition took the Pledge. A painting competition was conducted on the occasion.

On 1st October, 2023, Officers and staff members of Coir Board Head Office, Kochi and Central Coir Research Institute, Kalavoor carried out Swachhata drive in Public Health Centre, Kalavoor, Alappuzha with the participation of Doctors, Panchayat President, Local Administration etc.

Coir Board Regional Office, Kalavoor conducted a Painting Competition at Marry Immaculate School, Poonkavu, Alappuzha on 30th Sept.2023 in connection with Swachhata Hi Seva 2023.

As part of Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, the staff of Coir Board Regional Office, Pollachi conducted a cleaning programme at Nehru Street near Regional Office,Pollachi on 28.09.2023.

The Coir Board has been awarded for display at IITF-2022. ITPO,CMD Pradeep Singh Kharola presented the award to the Board adjudged second for excellence in display in the 41st Indian International Trade Fair(IITF) 2022 held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Coir Board has been selected second best among all government of India Ministries, departments, public sector undertakings, & also all commodity boards etc., Shri. D. Kuppuramu, Chairman, Coir Board and Jitendra Kumar Shukla, Secretary, Coir Board received this prestigious award.

Participation of Coir Board in 81st Annual session of Indian Roads Congress(IRC) at Lucknow from 08.10.2022 to 11.10.2022, with a stall in exhibition and Smt Sumy Sebastian, SSO(Poly) i/c presented the paper on Use of Coir geotextiles in roads. Hon. CM of UP Shri Yogi Adityanathji inaugurated the programme, Hon. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkariji was the chief guest of the programme. In the presence of MoS for MORTH General VK Singhji and UP minister of PWD shri Jitin Prasadaji and minister of state for PWD UP and other officials from MORTH and NHAI.
